Accredited Member, Distance Education and Training Council (DETC)

National Tax Training School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the DETC, Washington D.C. www.detc.org  NTTS was initially accredited  in 1965 and has maintained this prestigious accreditation ever since.

To be accredited, each school must open its doors to a thorough inspection by an outside examining committee, supply all information required by the commission and subject its instructional material and teaching methods to a thorough review by highly qualified subject matter specialists. To retain this accreditation, this inspection and review process is repeated every five years.

This Nationally Accredited Commission is officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the "nationally recognized accrediting agency" for home study under terms of Public Law.

Our tax school is proud to be included in this honor roll of the country's finest home study institutions.

NTTS has been accredited by DETC since 1965, and the May 2008 DETC visit was the ninth accrediting review of NTTS in the past 43 years. In all this time, DETC has not received a single bona fide student complaint about the institution!

National Tax Training School is fully approved by the NJ Department of Military and Veterans Affairs for the training of veterans and other eligible persons nationally.

We are sponsors of educational programs which are offered by DANTES to members of the armed services.

National Tax Training School's administrative offices are located in Mahwah, NJ, and the New Jersey Department of Education has granted us its Certificate of Approval. Our student body includes students from all 50 states and many foreign countries as well. We are nationally accredited by DETC (see above)

Tax preparers in the state of California are required to be licensed. NATIONAL TAX TRAINING SCHOOL is approved by the California Tax Education Council as a provider for Qualifying and Continuing Education training that meets the CA requirements.

Sponsor of Continuing Education for Certified Financial Planners (CFP)

National Tax Training School is recognized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards as a qualified sponsor of continuing education.

Meets training requirements for ACA^® membership.

ACA^® (Alliance of Cambridge Advisors) requires new members without a tax background to take a tax course prior to attending the Group Instruction. National Tax Training School's  Federal Income Tax Course meets this requirement.
