National Tax Training School - founded in 1952 - is a licensed and accredited educational institution that is devoted to teaching tax preparation. Training students is our only objective not a sideline or an adjunct to a tax preparation business.

Outstanding Text Materials

Our comprehensive course text  - especially developed for home study - is written by our school's team of highly skilled tax professionals and experienced educators in a clear concise manner, using language which is understood even by students who do not have an accounting background. Our tax training program is designed to impart to the student the knowledge needed to understand the theory and concepts of the US federal tax system in addition to the practical application of filing tax forms. This in-depth training has enabled NTTS graduates to take their places among the leading tax consultants in many communities throughout the nation.

Comprehensive Training

The primary purpose of NTTS  is to train our students so that they are proficient enough to work immediately after graduation and become qualified tax professionals. Other courses such as those given by nationally franchised tax return preparation services, are typically given only before the tax season and are designed primarily to train its students to work for them on their proprietary computerized system preparing simple individual tax returns, and more complicated returns are usually referred to the office manager. While their course is adequate for that purpose, many of those trainees and employees come to NTTS to receive further training.

Post-Graduate Service & Support

The NTTS courses are more than study courses. Even after graduation, NTTS continues to support you professional efforts and assist you. We provide our students with a three year guidance and updating service to keep the students aware of tax law changes - free of charge.
